The forum has lots of good info on roof rack installation, but I have a reverse question. I'm needing to remove the OEM rack from my 2003 MCS so I can replace the faded out roof graphic (Union Jack). When I remove the bolts on the the attachemnt pilings (bolt heads have a star pattern), is there a nut behind them that will drop out of sight? Just wondering what to be careful of during this. Thanks!

 

You are in the wrong generation thread and the rack on your car is different than the 2007+ cars.

if that returns nothing, then post this question in there.

I am unsure of the differences, otherwise I would help you out.
