Moonroof Sunshade Retracting

Hello,

Just wanted to pop in and say hi as I just purchased a '09 Horizon Blue MCS. Purchased this as a daily driver for my wife. And I gotta say its a blast to drive. One thing I noticed is that when opening the moonroof my sunshade doesn't retract with it. Is this normal? I never really tested the moonroofs during any test drives so I don't have any experience to compare to.

Thanks!

You are correct the Moonroof Sunshade is on it's own assembly and will not retract simply because you choose to have the Sunroof Open. I close mine on occasion when the sun is shining right into my face from above, it diffuses the light just enough.

Agreed, that's normal. I like this feature, as it allows you to enjoy the airflow through the roof without the glare.
