This custom made sub box fits perfecting in the trunk of a Hatchback first gen MINI, it may also fit in a convertible but I am not sure. The box is made out of MDF and is sealed. It has a cut out for a 12 inch shallow mount sub and a place for two amps (one shown in photo is not for sale). It is covered by a peg board false floor covered in black felt that is breathable. Also included is a sub cover that I painted hot pink- it can be repainted.

The box has a total air capacity of 1.25 cubic feet, which is beyond what the pre made ones can deliver and perfect for the fosgate shallow mount sub. You lose only 6 inches of depth in the trunk with this box.
