Today must be my day to ask questions on this forum.

Has anyone had any experience with GFChips.com? They make some pretty hefty claims of increased horse power, fuel economy, cooler running temps and more. All this for only 69 bucks seems a bit "too good to be true".

Their website says installation is <30 minutes an does not affect warranty or the ECU itself. It just reprograms what's going on with the engine.

 

I wouldn't trust it. There are similar options like the unichip (i think that's the one i saw i'll find a link) that are designed based on your cars mods. But from what i hear nothing can beat a solid custom tune.

 

Turn and run far away, this are too good to be true. Without going to he site, let me guess the claims are over twice the normal, expensive, reputable tuning companies get. I bet this chip company makes a model for nearly every make and model. Not to be trusted.

Been discussed a few times....
think of it as a scam to lighten your wallet, and suddenly you feel you car is doing better cause you spent $$. I think last time this product was brought up, we found their site sells a computer chip to control the computer on many cars that are NOT COMPUTER CONTROLLED.....try to figure that one out...
if you want to try it, go for it....and i have a tiny bridge for sale in Brooklyn....and can get you a geat deal on some land down in FL........
