Yeah, it seems a little bit frumpy for a factory-built version. I hope that's not what the top will be like when they go on sale here in the next few years. I'm sure that the car is a blast to drive, but it's definitely waaay below the hardtop in terms of attractiveness.
I really hope they don't do the El Camino/Brat pickup thing. Haven't seen any pictures, but I can't imagine that looking good at all.

Someone posted something like this a while ago.. it's an aftermarket deal, by a company in errr... Germany(? i'm not sure..) who's main focus is converting no convertables into convertables... you might want to check out this recent thread, as it seems like the car pictured there is pretty darn close to the production version, if it becomes finalized..
