MINI Track Rides at Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix July 14-22 2012
This is just a reminder to all the MINI fans who attend the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix. This year we are continuing our program that brings the fans to the racetrack. Last year it was a huge success and brought a lot of dollars in for the charity. You can still get your chance to actually get a ride on the track in one of the 3 MINIs that will be racing around, giving you a truly unique experience to see the Grand Prix from the track at speed. For a donation to the charity, you can get a ride around PittRace during the activities and also at Schenley Park on the same course as the racers. Three MINIs will be providing safety car/track clearing duties all week long during the races. Go to the PVGP site to see how you can participate. It's a great event and it supports a great charity. Hope to see you there, I'll be driving the number 1 car, a white JCW, so come get a ride! Many thanks to P&W Foreign Cars, MINI of Pittsburgh and the team that put this program together. Here is the link to the program description, so you can look at the site to see all the activities.

If you want to guarantee yourself a seat in a pro-driven Mini around the only public-road vintage race course, register with PVGP.org above for the track rides - these guys are good, the ride is a TOTAL thrill.
The PVGP on July 21st is PittStopMINI's largest event - we're shooting for 200 Minis! Last year, we had a "conga line" of 135 Minis in a sheriff-escorted "parade" across Pittsburgh...
If you're coming to PVGP in Schenley Park on July 21 and driving a Mini, please register on the PittStopMINI website. Not only are we raffling off several MINI Track Rides, Mini of Pittsburgh will subsidize your admission so instead of costing you $30/car, it'll cost you $5/person AND you get a free catered lunch, drinks, and a special Mini "beverage".
