can anyone assist me on how to remove the grilles from the front bumper and hood?

i want to paint it Shiny black, because that flat black looks dumb! lol.

any suggestions on how exactly to accomplish this? what kind of paint, ect.

think just spraying on a shiny lacquer or urethane would do the trick? or do i need to go full on shiny black paint?

 

Hood Grille:
-Open the hood, remove the 11 nuts and washers from behind the grille.
-Once these nuts have been removed, pull the grille straight down.

how do i remove the LOWER grill? from the aero kit bumper?

i have an astroblack metallic JCW

 

The lower grill is glued on , with some careful work you can ease it off

 

That's what I was afraid of.

Who alls painted their grills? Recommendations? I'd like to go "shiny"
