Viaduct re-route
Viaduct re-route
Has anyone here been through the temporary viaduct re-route through So-Do? They must have made it just for Minis. It has a couple fun corners and if traffic permits (usually at night) it can make for a fun little stretch of road.
Nice. I hit it last weekend too. For some reason a line of about 20 cars decided to stay in the right lane so I got by them just in time for the fun part. There was a Justa in that sad line of cars. I had to show them what they were missing!
I go through there at about 3 am on my way to work. Definitely some fun curves, especially at that hour and also if it is dry (hello, summer!). I'm actually going to miss that part when they finish the stupid tunnel.
You've noted how dead it is around here. Have you been to PSMINI, the local club? That's how most MINI people here in the PNW get together.

Yeah, I met up with them on one occasion. I didn't seem to have much in common other than a car. Not that I'm looking for a new best friend or anything but is was a rather uneventful social experience. The PSMini group was kind of tagging along on the greenwood auto show so there were some distracting exotics that kept the mini socializing to a minimum so I will have to try again.
