We spent last weekend admiring all of the fabulous vehicles at Minis on the Dragon in western NC. We're ready to make a MINI our own - but not sure which one is right for us. We like the John Cooper Works models, but we would prefer an automatic transmission. Someone mentioned that automatic transmissions will be an available option on the 2013 JCWs. Can anyone confirm that? If so, we're thinking of waiting until the 2013s are available to purchase our first Mini.

at this point, i do not think MINI USA has confirmed that JCW cars will be available for MY2013...however, that is the rumor and should announced by MINI USA shortly. my goes is that it will be confirmed whenever the 2013 ordering hides come out, which should not be too long from now. i'd find a solid dealer and let them know what you are interested in and see what they say. if you are not sure on a dealer, contact your local MINI club. even if you ar sure of the dealer, contact your local club and start getting involved.
