Got a bit of curb rash on my new black rims. The curb rash is less than an inch long and is on the very edge of the rim. No damage other than paint removal to the rim. What is the best way to cover up to avoid future issues? I've been reading model paint would work for a small touch up like this. Anyone have any suggestions/experiences they can share?

 

use automotive touch up paint with small brush...the one's in small bottle with pen tip outside and brush inside...I have a million rashes on mine from road gravel hits but you don't notice them 10 feet away...

 

Had same issue, posted same question. Was told temporarily a black sharpie will do. I did that and it worked. Permanent solution I was told is black bumper paint available at any auto store. Have yet to do that.

Or buy another rim....ka ching!
