Mass. is a 2-plate state and while I'm not a big fan offset look of the tow-hook plate brackets, the stock r53 plate bracket just looks... clunky.

In looking for an alternative, I was wondering if this Impreza front bracket would work okay on the MINI:



I guess the main concern would be whether the offset for the screw holes for attaching the bracket to the bumper are the same on the Impreza as on the MINI. Anyone know offhand?

I made my own brackets. Its a double L with velcro on the top and bottom. I used metric bolts and nuts to attach the License Plate and Frame to the bracket. For extra holding power I used small zip ties attached to the bracket and the lower grill.

At 120 mph, it never moved at all ! I also drilled holes in the License Plate for air flow

It takes alittle time to get the bends correct but it a clean look and a cheap Mod !
