R50/53 MCS w/out MCS hood scoop
I know there have been some discussion about this in the MCS vs. MC threads. Theres no hatred from me just some pics of a Mini Cooper S with out the scoop hood. Sorry about the bad pic quality, I'm at work and don't have a graphics program to edit properly with. Can someone tell me if this is a Cooper or Cooper S? The front and back dont match.

Looks like a Cooper with the aero kit and an aftermarket, center-mounted exhaust. The Cooper S must have the hood scoop to force air over the air-to-air intercooler, thus keeping the engine from grenading itself at boost.

Agree with Davbret. It has to be a Cooper. No way can it be supercharged without the scoop. The "S" emblems can be purchased and installed to look like the "S". Imposter.
It's a regular cooper.
If it was an 'S' it would have body color upper grille.
What's the point in the 'S' decals. Without them I'd think it was a pretty cool car.
With them I think "What a loser, Who's he trying to fool?"
It's a shame that there is no picture of the gas cap. I'd like to know if he updated the gas cap too.
Pebble.
