How to fit a Mini Countryman in a small garage

Granted, the Countryman is a small car. But it's still rather large for our tiny (san francisco) garage. I used a simple and cheap solution to protect our doors from banging against the walls.

You will need.
1.> PVC Pipes -

2.> Pipe Foam

3.> clamps.

Put the PVC pipes inside the pipe foam, and attach it to the wall usint the clamps. See picture.

Now, if i accidentally open the door wide, it hits the pipe foam, rather than the wall. Also, you need the PVC pipes inside the foam, so that the foam is not too squishy.

This buys you a couple of additional inches.

What a great idea!
Now what about between two cars, I park on the left side same side I sleep on!
That's weird anyway so my wife's drivers door does not hit my passenger door , what would be a good low visible spacer , maybe the same but just straddle the ends?
Thanks for the tip I'm on it !

They make hanging door cards just for this purpose:
