Has anyone found an easy fix for droning coming from an replacement exhaust on a 2011 - 2012 MCS.

This is not just loud sound, but a resonance that permeates the whole interior of the car that starts at about 2800 rpm and continues to about 3400 rpm. Those of you that have it will know what I am talking about, those who don't, you are VERY lucky.

I am ready to go to an muffler shop and have a side branch resonator made, but it looks like I will have to remove the stock resonator to fit the side branch resonator and I am concerned the exhaust will get too loud.

Welcome to the OMG what did I do to the exhaust world.

I bought an Invidia for my 2010. The droaning was horrible. It only lasted a week before I put the stock exhaust back on and sold the invidia... It sounded so good at WOT, but just driving around was killing me.
