Just bought my first 1st Gen MINI and wanted to put chrome mirror caps on it. It has the power fold mirrors, will they work on those? On the second gen there are two different models, one for power fold and one for regular. Not seeing that option on the 1st gen parts places. Anyone know?

I'm not sure if it matters, but if you they won't work on power folding mirrors, I have some first gen Power Heated, but manual folding mirrors that I will let go for real cheap

That's exactly what I have! So if yours has them then they must work with the 1st gen power folding mirrors. I'm not finding a specific part number for power-folding mirrors so I think they may just be compatible with both mirrors on the 1st gen.
