I purchased a Sport Link from the dealer when I purchased my 2003 Cooper. For a number of reasons I never had the link mounted on my 03 (still in the original box).

I now have a 2011 Cooper and wonder if anyone would know if the sport link would fit. I checked on the Mini Fini web site. They list different sport links for 2007 and newer cars. The pictures of them look identical - all bolt holes in the same place and all of the accessories fit both the earlier unit and the newer one. From the descriptions of the 2 units the newer is apparently lighter. Any input would be appreciated as I don't want to purchase a new link.

 

Did you call Mini Fini ask them?
