I have a 2010 Mini JCW and I am trying to take BOV off any special tool or adapter you guys use to get access? T30 adapter and what else is needed. Is it possible to keep the coolant line in place?

 

You CAN do it with the coolant bottle in place but it's MILES easier with it out of the way. When you're putting the Forge on, take it apart first. It'll make getting the bolts in a LOT easier. Don't forget to swap the springs. The one that comes installed is too soft for a JCW.

 

what kind of tool did you use Tbar or ratchet?

 

I used a ratchet with an extension. My T-handles didn't give me enough leverage to get the original bolts off.

 

remove the coolant reservior and just move it aside(flip it upside down) you dont have to remove the line.
