I have a Yakima rack that I have used on my Audis. It has the Q towers and Yakima states that I can use this rack if I purchase new Q78 clips. In the past, the Yakima rack has been bullet proof. Have any of you used this rack on your R56 hardtop?

I've got the same rack on my R56. Had it there for a year. No problems with two bikes or kayaks. Clearance for the sunroof to open is very tight 1/8th inch so install it correctly.

I had to cut the rain gutter trim where the holes are pre cut in the side of the car to install the q78 clips on mine.
