Destiny is in the body shop
Destiny is in the body shop
From the day my girlfriend and I picked up her MCS, Destiny, it had a standing appointment to be turned in for a detail and body work. There was something found under the paint (possibly a dried paint drip) on the edge of the hood and a paint chip on the edge of the door upon the initial inspection. This morning we took Destiny to the dealership to be sent to the body shop. Now we are waiting to see the result of paint work on Destiny.
So far the interaction with East Bay Mini in Pleasanton, CA has been awesome. We made it clear that my girlfriend lives 100 miles away from the dealership and would have a hard time returning the loaner during work days. They said they would drive her car up and get the loaner at no cost to us. I was all smiles knowing the dealership would go out of their way to accommodate us.
I am curious to see the end result of the body work which is billed to the warranty company from what I understand.

The conclusion has worked out well, both spots have been fixed. My girlfriend was not able to return the loaner Mini so the dealership drove her car 100 miles and picked up the loaner car. Pretty awesome customer service!
