Motegi + Toyo

I'm sitting at my office just waiting on the FedEx guy to deliver my Toyo Proxes R1Rs (235/40/17)... already have the Motegi MR125 in satin black which have been just sitting on the floor of the garage since Christmas. Starting to get a little excited!

Should have everything mounted up today, just wish it was a bit warmer and not so rainy here in Kansas City so i could get started breaking them in

nothing like the impending excitement to keep me unfocused at work when I'm trying to get stuff done

just got them on the car - haven't even cleaned the mounting soap from the tires!

they trammel a little bit and are crazy loud compared to the continentals - but i bet that all goes away as i get them broken in. need to get a few hundred miles on them before auto-x season starts up...

here ya go -

The tire noise will not go away. It will get quieter as it wears. The Conti DWS are very quiet compared to the Toyo. But hey it looks great. What offset?

+42 : puts the tire right at the edge of the fender. I'm not to worried about the tire noise (but it is nice to know it will diminish a bit), the setup is for performance first, and comfort a distant second

You have to let me try one of these on my car this weekend to see if they fit over the JCW brembos :-) This is the exact setup I'm thinking of getting.

Did anyone try out these rims to see if they fit over the JCW brakes?
