Protecting my boot lid

I have been concerned about a few scuffs that I noticed on the boot lid of my coupe. My kids and I have been a little less then ideal at removing their/my backpacks and gym bags. I took a chance and ordered a rear guard bumper protector for my coupe from ebay uk. There was not a listing for the coupe but the hatchback bumper protector looked identical to what I needed so I took a chance.
I know it's not ideal for everyone. I prefer the painted bumper but I really don't want to have to remove scuffs every time I am detailing my car. And I would rather save my yelling at my kids for the important stuff.

I am happy with the results and have more protection from annoying blemishes, scuffs and scratches on my boot-lid!

The 3M clear bra is also a viable fix for area's like this.

Looks like a good fix/fit to me. At least the paint's protected.

I have 3m clear bra on the front (full front hood, lights, bumper) of my car already. I know it is available for the boot lid but preferred this option. It was simple and quick to place as a do-it-yourself mod.
