Hi,

Does anyone happen to know what the blue liquid leaking from under my engine compartment could be?

I know it's def. not coolant.

Windshield washer fluid ??

 

Actually I stand corrected; I think it is coolant from the way it was running off the paper I laid down. It wasn't viscous. I was just surprised because I always thought coolant was green.

Plus, the windshield washer fluid level looked fine.

Anyway, it must be a bad thermostat housing.

I'll get it checked this week.

 

Also check your PS fluid level.

 

I replaced the thermostat, housing, & gasket this weekend. It wasn't too bad of a job. It took me about an hour and then tack on another half hour to bleed the system.

No more leaks.
