Chrome peeling away

What a way to start the new year.

We just noticed that the chrome on the trim ring surrounding our left headlight is separating from the base.

Anyone have this problem too?

Mine doesn't. Do you usually put any car care products on it??

Wonder if the warranty covers it?...

We use Griot's paint sealant and Griot's speed shine. Nothing too damaging I think.

The bumper to bumper part of the warranty should cover it, still under warranty?

I'm assuming you're applying Griot's paint sealant and Griot's speed shine on the right side as well...right? If so, then is the right side peeling? If it is only the left side peeling, sounds like it is defective. I would just call your dealership and ask....

It's a known problem-Mini will cover it if you are still under factory warranty.
