Hi!

My first MINI is on order! (ordered on 12/9/11) 2012 Mini S Convertible/hot chocolate w/ hot chocolate top, black bonnet stripes w/ 17" black star bullet wheels. I've got MINI fever and can't wait to start driving with the top down! Anyone in the same 'boat' as me? Does anyone know when a production date/week will be for those who ordered around the same time I did?

PS- Enjoying all the threads about the convertible on here!

I just ordered my new MINI! Ordered a convertible Cooper S in Spice Orange, black sport stripes, and black rims!

I originally had it ordered with 17" rims... but after hearing about how much stiffer the ride is, I went to the dealership and drove a car with 16" wheels and one with 17". What a difference! I changed the order to 16's. My current MINI has 16" wheels, and I have no issues with extended trips (13 hours) in my MINI!

Can't wait for my new convertible!!!

 

Another member of the great Spice Orange owners club! We're practically twins. The only external diff may be the specific rims and ours also has (or will have today) black mirror caps.

Absolutely great name for your ride -now I need to think of a new one!

I went with the body colored mirror caps. I have white caps, rims, and roof on my current MINI and was looking for something a little different. I went back and forth between black and body colored... I figured I could always add black colored caps later if I so desire!

 

Yeah we've had the SO colored caps since getting him since the MA didn't have access to black ones. I'm now kinda on the fence but I'm getting them tonight so we'll see.
