Tires tires tires

So...my 2011 MCS has the stock run flats. They arent a bad set of tires but my god are they loud and ruff...i want something better....anybody have an idea for a set of tires that would be good for srping/summer driving? Im gonna keep the run flats for the winter as i have heard they arent the worst tire for snow. Thoughts?

This completely depends on your driving style and expectations from your tire. I would recommend you taking a look at the Goodyear Eagle GT. It's a performance all season tire that my mom and I have on both our MINIs and love them.

Well, if there's a favorite season to be driving on run-flats, I guess it'd have to be winter.

The Tire Rack website is a favorite place to help in decisions about tires. You aren't the only one here to be looking for new tires, so there are also quite a few recent threads here asking about new tires; you can use the search function.

You'll need to first decide whether you'll want summer tires or all-seasons, then decide how much handling prowess you want versus ride comfort and long wear; you won't be able to maximize both with the same tire.

yea i have been floating around on tirerack but i wanted to ask here first to see what everyone would recommend. I have only had the car for about 7 months, just hit 5100 miles on it with the stock tires. I dont hate the stock run flats, they are just loud and i would much rather have a fun tire for the spring/summer season.
