Aftermarket Wheels Advice?

So its about time to replace my tires and was thinking I might just take the opportunity to switch out the wheels as well.

Seeing that our cars have run-flat tires and an OEM TPMS, are there considerations I should be making when shopping around for aftermarket wheels? I'm hoping to retain the OEM TPMS, and obviously I would just try to match up some run-flats to whatever size wheels I pick up. Any compatibility issues I should look out for?

Most of the wheels now can easily fit the tire pressure monitoring sensors (TPMS) without issue.
As for the run-flat versus the non run-flats; there's many more choices in a non run-flat tire that have better wear and traction.
Plus, non run-flats are typically cheaper in comparison.

As for wheel style, width, offset, and color; that's up to you!

There are three things that you can attribute to wheels.

Strong
Light
Cheap.

The bad thing is you can usually only pick two of the three...

id pick strong and light over cheap any day. i have a set of work xd-9's and they run about 450 per wheel (17x8) or you can go to your local tire store and get a set of crappy made wheels for a measly 100 bucks.

there's a few things you have to ask yourself...

do you really want to stick with runflats?
do you really need tpms?
are you lowering your car/has it been?
what size wheels are you currently running?
do you want to go larger?
what's your budget?
