I'm looking for an aftermarket IC that has nice radiused plate edges instead of the flat faces ,but can't find any close-up photos comparing the different ones.

 

helix i believe has semi circ edges... only one i can think of.

 

What difference does it make? They ALL work the same. Helix, Alta, Forge... All of them work.

 

Tell me more what your talking about and i can grab a pic for you off my car. or i might have some pics from when i got the intercooler that might help you

 

All aftermarket ICs use a bar and plate core, if you look at the front you'll see the turbolators and the bars.The air goes through the turbolators and gets stopped by the flat edge of the plates . Thats why the GP IC works good, it has a different type of assembly and the air is routed through better . Its the same way inside. A curve in front of the bar would help the flow of air.

 

Like i said helix does have semi circ bars. Has less surface area than the alta intercooler though. They all work about the same but i chose the alat unit for the surface area.
