R58 Lowering springs or coilovers for Coupe
Check Way Motor Works. He just started to put up some coupe accessories under the R58 heading. I think he has a suspension section but not sure what he added so far. Way is the only vendor that I have seen with a Coupe section yet. Are there any other vendors that anyone else knows about?
I was also wondering if the Coupé would use the same suspension upgrades as the R56. I seem to remember reading that MINI had tweaked the suspension, but details were not forthcoming. Don't know if they changed the suspension geometry in any way (which could affect fitment of aftermarket parts), or just used components with different spring/rebound rates, etc. (which would mostly affect how big of a difference you'd see with the same aftermarket part on an R58 vs. an R56).
Small drop's a must. Maybe it's me, but the R56/57 Minis all look a little jacked up compared to the R50/53. Guess too many people complained about the ride on the earlier cars so they just raised them for more compliance.
Looks like the coupe shares exact suspension legs as all the other models, so KW coilovers for R56 will fit coupe ...
