More cool stuff from M7......And you asked for it

To satisfy the masses.. We decided to make a control arm system that would retain the stock arms but give you
better control of the suspension movements. The stock arm has a hexagonal shaft that needs to be converted to a
round shaft. The steel shaft fits snugly over the stock part, and the threaded hole in the part locks the two pieces
together with a countersunk screw. For superior lubrication we are using a Teflon impregnation of the part.

Delrin and self lube bronze bushing is used in the main body bushing, replacing the squishy imprecise
stock unit for better control of your camber, caster, toe and better up and down movement (arc).

This uppgrade is taking the the suspension to the next level of refinement.......Enjoy

Price: $ 249.00

Another great idea and execution Peter. I'm very familiar with this upgrade on Subarus (referred to as an "anti-lift kit&quot and it does wonders at reducing the deformation in that system. No racer goes without.

You're implementation is different but achieves the same objective. What I'd like to know is:

With reference to the SCCA ST rules, is the metal content increased relative to the stock bushing?

I could make a special version to minimize the metal content. Using carbon fiber impregnated plastic in the bushing
to replace the self lube bronze insert, and for the large shaft surface I will come up with something non metalic

Peter,

Thanks very much for the pictures and great product.
Any comment on how the upgrade affects ride quality- a bit stiffer or close to stock?
Would you consider this an autocross and track option and not for just street use?
Any estimate on installation costs?
What sort of warranty on parts are your including?
Keep up the great work.
Thank you.

Peter - would you mind posting a thread for discussion on this in Performance Mods? I'd like to have all discussion in one of the forums rather than in the announcements area. In the meantime I'm locking this thread so that we can move discussion over to Performance Mods. Thanks!

Mark
