Just ordered my first mod...Alta boost gauge and pod

I have only had my MCS for a few days and already have my first mod on order! I just ordered the Alta boost gauge and mount kit. Has anyone installed one of these (or similar) on a 2011? What can I expect as far as install? Is the map/boost adapter compatible with a factory intake? Does anyone have a link to a write-up? One more question, I have looked at the pdf instructions from the website. How difficult is the interior panel removal in this car? In the vehicles I previously owned(all Dodges) most of it was snap together stuff with little hardware. Is the Mini similar?

Thanks in advance--

Anyone have any experience with this install? I have experience in mechanical and electrical. I really am just looking for some insight on the interior panel removal.

This was also my first mod. I did the mechanic part, which is really really simple especially if you have the boost tap. I had a buddy soder up the wiring because I can't do stuff like that.

Yeah mechanical I can figure out. I'm pretty good with the right tools. As it turns out, I will be visiting a friend in early November who is a certified BMW technician. He is actually eager to help. He has plenty of experience with BMW and has done a little with R53's so I don't think he will have much of a problem with it. I guess I will just have to look at the box for a few weeks when it arrives lol
