Kudos to MINI of Pensacola!
Lots of folks are eager to report bad dealership experiences, but do they report the good ones, too? Well, I do!
I drove from the Houston area to Clearwater, Florida, and Hubby forgot to check my wiper blade. (We haven't had any rain to speak of for months.) Multiple swarms of lovebugs* and some storms in Louisiana and Alabama caused my wipers to shred. Time for some refills!
I stopped at MINI of Pensacola, and was looking for the parts department to get refill inserts when I saw an employee. Aaron walked me over to the right place, and I asked him how much the dealership charged for installation (I had no tools, and hadn't done it before). He cheerfully offered to do it for free, which was a deal I couldn't pass up. And he did, in about 5 minutes, saving me time, effort, and probably a few cuss words.
Now I realize it wasn't a free engine overhaul, but he could have easily named a price. It's a business, after all. It was a great gesture and I really appreciate it when an individual or a business steps up with an act of kindness. And before you guys get the idea that I'm a slim 20-something blonde, well, my youngest kid is in his mid-thirties. And I'm probably best described as...frumpy.
Thanks, Aaron!
*What's a lovebug? Well, if you don't know, consider yourself blessed! They're a southern delight, swarm spring and fall, and they're a real nuisance, not to mention paint-eating acidic juggernauts. Time to wash the car!
