Intercooler Diverter: worth the money?

I tried to search the forums and inter webs but didn't find much, so here goes...

I'm planning on getting some go-fast parts this fall, starting with a CAI and reduced pulley (15%). Another local MINI owner showed me his DDM IC Diverter at our last meet-up, and I was wondering how effective it is, if this mod is worth the money. My friend likes his, but he has a ton of other goodies on his R53 too.

After the engine mods I'm looking at a rear sway bar, maybe a one ball mod...so, is the diverter a good upgrade?

Any input or references are much appreciated!

The factory diverter is pretty good, with the factory I/C. The real benefit to the DDM is in tendem with the GP/IC.

I was looking into buying one as well so I'm glad you posted this. Whether they really make a difference or not, they still look great.
