I called mini as I was having trouble singing up for the Mini owners lounge, and after supplying the rep with my vin, he told me I could not sign up because my car was purchased in Europe by a military person.

So, having taken delivery of the car in eu and brought over, would there be anything different about the car other than a story?

 

You probably have a first aid kit and a triangle as well as they are mandatory overseas (most areas). The rest of the car is USA speck.

I bought my 06 in Germany while working there.

 

I do have those, and a jack kit.

When I was stationed in Germany, many people bought bmw's there and they came with no speed limiter. I have not been to 130 to see if it limits, so I just wondered.
