Hi guys,

Do take a look at the attached photo of my engine bay. It seems like there isn't an aftermarket drop-in air filter that fits my airbox, i.e. located above main engine and elongated.

Any experts can advise on any decent existing available aftermarket drop-in air filter?

That is a strange looking airbox. Mine doesn't look like that at all. What year is your Cooper?

 

Mini Mania has a long, narrow K&N filter that they say is for 'non-usa' cars.

Maybe this is it? If not, they may be able to help guide you.

That looks like it's European version of the airbox. I have a few of the ITG filters for that box, but anything else is hard to find for it.

Very old thread, but in case someone is looking for that one -

Pep Boys tried to give me that one for my car, and I knew it wasn't the right one - waaay too long, and looked to me like a cabin air filter. $22 from Purolator and they stock it at all the stores so it must fit something else common.
