Hi all.....I live in north Mississippi and while I live in the middle of nowhere, my dinky little town still has an old fashion drive in theater. I was thinking of organizing a small Mini get together one weekend and doing a drive during the day and ending at the drive-in for the evening. I thought it would be a hoot to have a bunch of Minis overrun the town. Not real sure how many are into such a thing but I thought I'd throw it out there and check interest. As an added bonus, our town is located on Pickwick Lake in the very NE corner of MS....5 miles from Alabama and 10 miles from Tennessee. Thought we could hit the road for a scenic drive and stop for lunch on the lake early in the day.

You should contact the Mid-South MINIacs. We do day drives occasionally and the events commitee has discussed the idea of doing an overnighter too.
