Hey! I am moving from Atlanta to Montgomery at the beginning of October. I wont know anyone there, so I'm hoping there are some of you guys in the area.

 

I think there are. I can't remember if there have been any at our monthly Hamburger get togethers. We're not that far from Montgomery here in B'ham. They just had a Saturday run a few weeks ago. And we usually have 6 - 8 couples/owners at each monthly meeting. Hope to see you at one of those in the near future.

 

Welcome to the River Region! There are a few of us MINIacs scattered around Montgomery, Prattville, Millbrook, and Wetumpka. Scooter and I met the B'ham area folks on August 20 for a lovely ride down Alabama Highway 25 out from Leeds.

The British & European Car Show will be this Saturday, October 1 here in Montgomery.

AMS members attending include WillM, 07MCSa; Scooter, 09MCS; and me, (Panda) 10MCSa; and 4bar2 as a spectator. There are a couple of other AMS MINIs that we're still waiting to hear from.

It should be a nice day for motoring and we'd love to have you join us as a spectator or entrant if you can.

The hours are 10:00am - 02:00pm at Lagoon Park [MAP].
Lagoon Park Dr. is about 2.6 miles north of I-85 on North East Blvd (US 231), aka the NE Bypass. Turn left (west) on Lagoon Park Drive, then go just past a large parking lot on the right.

It will be good to have another Pepper White there.
