Are the oil filters and wrench the same on a r56 as they are on a r53?? I am about to have to do a oil change on my r56 and was just wondering do i need to go buy another wrench and differnt oil filters or can I use the same ones i used on my r53?

 

On the R56, I believe it's an 8 mm allen wrench for the oil pan gasket instead of the 1/2" socket for the R53,
and a 27 mm socket instead of the 36 mm for the R50/R53.
The R56 uses different oil filters than the R50/R53 as well.
