Hi,
I am having my 03 Cooper S and had some rust issues on the left side right above the license plate light bar. Behind the bar (removed by 4 torx bolts) there is a rubber gasket and mine failed. The car is getting completely repaired of all rust dents and other misperfections and getting a complete new paint job and I don't want the rust to come right back.

Does anyone have an idea where to get this gasket?

Also my rear emblem needed replaced...is there a good place to get a new one?

The gasket is part# 51247114521 (item #14 here: http://realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?...80&hg=41&fg=60)
The emblem seems to be part# 51147026186 : http://realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?...=51&fg=20&hl=3

You can obtain parts from any MINI dealer. Some online vendors also sell OEM parts.
