Anyone has/knows a good bike rack form the Cooper hatchback? Maybe it is posted somewhere but I'm still new. Got my MINI Cooper just two months ago. I do a lot of riding on mountainbike as well as road bike. I like the roof rack but that would only be good for my road bike. Any suggestions, what kind of rack, brand? And in what price ranges?

 

If you do a search, you'll find a few choices. MINI Do More is one that gets good reviews, but a search will uncover others.

 

I have a Yakima King Joe 3, which attaches to the rear hatch. I think I paid $150 or so, but the price has come down since then. It has two bottom straps and two straps that go to the top and to the sides. I still haven't found a great way to keep it from rotating, other than pulling the straps so tight my hatch looks like it's about to bend. It makes me nervous. Personally, I'm saving up to replace it with a roof rack, even for my mountain bike.
