Bonnet Washer Jet Tubing

I find the washer hose easily gets pinched and I feel the hose and wire is poorly taped around the clips of the bonnet. I had to open the hood and fish my fingers up into the hinge area to prevent the hose from getting caught in the bonnet hinges. I think this could have been done better using a flex-belted hose similar to high pressure hosing used in hydraulics or the John Cooper Works Armored Brakelines. I have already had issues the the washers not spraying due to this and I feel a little disappointed this is such an un-engineered or seemingly overlooked item.

Has anyone else had this issue???

Same Problem, windshield washer spray jet pinches

Dude I just had this issue today with my R60 and was able to fix it! I had no idea why the windshield spray jets were only going at like 1/2 pressure with fluid available until I investigated and found their crappy little piece of electric tape that holds the fluid line to some wire had come unstuck and the line was pinched in the bonnet. Too bad they didn't fix it for 2012! Oh well.
