Started off with a custom engraved "Wu-Tang" Whalen Shift Machine. Then installed the B&M... felt great, looked like crap with the stock boot...

Decided to get the Moss leather shift boot (no logo). Installed last night and it looks awesome! To get rid of some of the extra material due to the shorter sihfter, Just tie-wrapped that bad-boy a little higher up and voila!

I'll try to take a pic tonight... I'm lying, I'm sure I won't. But trust me, looks great. Definitely suggest the 20 clams to spruce up the whole package.

 

I know what you mean, I have the same combo. I have the logo on the boot though...

 

CS, do you, or anyone else for that matter, know how to photograph the Whalen? Glare friggin city.

Is yours polished? I have the brushed. Just get the right light I guess...

The only way I've had any luck is with outdoor light, no flash at all.
Otherwise they look like...(dare I say it)...CRAP!

Even the best pics I've ever gotten look crummy, IMO.

BTW: The shift box under the console is sealed well so there are no engine fume problems. If you wanted to, you caould make it out of just about any fabric, vinyl or leather. Have you seen the Hyundai Tiburon black rubber accordion boot? NICE!
