We took our 3 week old car in for service today, and when we got it back the lock programming had changed. I know we had "Unlock when the car is turned off" on, and both my wife and I could swear that "Unlock both doors and the boot with one press of the button on the key" was turned on. They both were switched off.

The dealer is telling me that they don't think it is possible on an 04 to turn on "Unlock both doors and the boot with one press of the button on the key". Is this true? I really thought it had been turned on, but I honestly can't remember.

 

I have both of those features turned on on mine. Your dealer doesn't know what he is talking about.

BTW I had the same thing happen to me when I went in to haqve my alarm programed. The tech is supposed to read the onboard computer before doing any programing to prevent this from occuring. I guess good help is hard to find.
