I did my first track time (performance driving school) and my wheels look nasty. I took them off the car and attempted to get off the spots of tire rubber that were plastered all of them... However, it seems that many of the hot rubber pieces embeded themselves into the finish of the rims (ASA JS1). What do I use to remove the rubber without damaging the finish?

I would try wax and elbow grease 1st, if not claybar followed by wax after!
