Help identify leaky boot on axle.
Clean the boot off...and carefuly look for cracks or tears.....it might be the grease inside leaking out.
If caught very early before the cv joint in contaminated, it can be rebooted...often if any grit has gotten in, the best option is a new axel. Oem iscok for most modified s's ....the cheap e-bay ones are pretty short lived on a higher hp car...they are underbuilt.
If the boot does not have any cuts or tears...look for what is dripping on it....

Yep, definitely the grease inside leaking out, i'm gonna just try to patch it like this guy:

If you wait, and a single piece of grit gets inside....the cv joint will tear itself up...
You can buy a "split boot" that can be installed without droppi.g the axel...might want to look into it. Also a temp fix..

i have the same problem. except that ive already replaced an axle twice an its about to fail on me. i looked an the boot is leaking. would this happen very often because my car is so low? (front is mabby 3 inchs from the floor) if not id love to know why im about to be on my 4th axle. each time its from the boot leaking. please help
