Has anyone found an OEM cover (not MINI specific) or cap for the 2nd-Gen lug bolt hexagon heads?
I've tried the MK4 Volkswagen [see photo below] caps, but the hexagon dimension (design for 17mm) is too big and does not press fit onto the lug.





Anyone been able to find black plastic caps?

I bought a set of these http://www.radusadirect.com/product/...lt-Covers.html for my 2007 MCS and they work fine. My stock lug bolts use a 17mm socket to remove. You mentioned a 14mm hex head, are your bolts stock MINI? If your bolts use a 14mm socket to remove these covers won't work either....good luck

 

Yep; same here.

The OEM bolt thread is a M14 x 1.5; however the head size is still a 17mm.
