I'm thinking of possibly selling my 07 mcs. I currently have two sets of oem wheels. It's it possible to put those on a base mini (justa mini)?

 

Should fit but I think tpms will not work as there was a change in 2010.

 

Unless you've got a Canadian MINI which just uses the ABS sensors and no sensors

 

I would be wary of running big, heavy 17's on a Non-S Cooper. I know others are doing it but it seems to me it would hurt acceleration. I lost 4lbs a corner swapping out heavy Miglias to Konigs and felt a huge difference.

 

You will be fine. It may slow down the acceleration but with the bigger wheels your mini will look so much better

 

I stayed with stock size 16", but lost almost 16lbs. all around...what a difference, for the better of course!! Less noisy too, don't know how, but it is!!

 

Thanks...when I bought my 07 it had these wheels (although the original owner curb-rashed them pretty good)

However, I also have these: (In White though and mint)

Looks like I may just keep my 07 for now. In the shop now with Timing chain issues.
