Can you still get painted wheel arches from the factory? I saw some at a dealer's showroom two years ago or so, but I can't find the option when I'm using the MINI configurator. If it makes a difference, I've been configuring a JCW cabrio.

By painted wheel arches do you mean the factory aero kit? If so, then no. It's no longer available. You can always have your wheel arches sanded down by a body shop and painted or buy a set of smooth wheel arches that can be painted.

 

Thanks. When I saw them at the dealer, I didn't notice that they were all on cars with the Aero kit.

So for a while, did all Aero kits come with painted arches, or was it still an option? (In other words, during the time when you could order an Aero kit with painted arches, could you still order one with the regular black textured arches?)

onefish2: nicely done with the photos. It is getting harder to spot regular aero kits. I had wanted to do that as well, but never got around to it. I'd imagined getting the JCW aero kit with painted arches, but as posted above, that has not been a factory option. (right?) Any way it isn't possible to get it now even as a parts order...or is it?
