HOLY MOLY I'm soooo happy with it!

- Focal Polyglass 6X9s in the back, LPF 50hz (They're like subwoofers that'll make the entire inside RUMBLE but won't **** off your neighbours - so good)

- Focal Performance 165s in the front (cheaped out a lil here, will upgrade later to KRX2 or if I can find cheap Utopias on ebay.)

- Focal Solid4 amplifier, got a sweet deal on this for $199 at a local car audio show this weekend.

Installed the amplifer underneath the passenger seat. Ran all the output cables to the back of the deck, soldered everything, ran power to my fuse, bolted a good ground to the chassis.

Pretty busy weekend for me, but does it ever sound sick now. I don't really see the need for a subwoofer with a properly balanced system like this.

 

Congrats on the new sound. I'm in the process of doing the same with mine but my amp does not have speaker level inputs so I'm going to have to use a converter. Did you have to convert to RCA's and if so what converter did you use?

 

The solid4 amp is pretty nifty. It comes with a high-level input, so I ran the front speaker outputs to that. The high level inputs toggle power on the amp, super easy install. Sorry, doesn't help you :(
