CD Changer Re-set

I recently had a slight problem with my 2008 R56 Cooper S and it's CD changer. While changing a CD, it changed from #2 to #5 and the CD jammed. I retrieved it but now all I get is the Error message on the menu. Can anyone tell me how to re-set or re-boot the changer. I have tried everything that I know, which isn't much (electronic disabled) !
Thank You in advance.

About the only thing you can try at this time is to disconnect the battery and leave it disconnected for at least 30 minutes. if that doe not reset it them there is probably some sort of mechanical error that will need to be repaired

Is the car under warranty? If so, I wouldn't even bother trying to figure it out. Just take it in and say it's broke.

Thanks schatzy62, I'll give that a try tomorrow. Will let you know how it turns out if you wish.
