Hey Everybody!

My Wife and I are interested in purchasing a Countryman. During our couple of test drives we forgot to check how far the rear seats actually recline. I know they recline some, but do they recline past where the floor cover locks in the upright position? We are specifically looking at the sport seat upgrade, and am hoping they recline further into the rear cargo area.

No, I have regular seats and just the other day I told my kid to pull her seat and recline it more as we were road tripping. Much to my surprise the seat did not recline much at all.

 

Haven't tried it, but what if you slide the back seat forward, will it recline further?

 

No, it doesn't.

 

Thanks for the answers, but that's disappointing. We love the CM, but teenage boys need a little more lounging space for longer trips.
